Kalevi Aho komponerade tre verk i kammarformat speciellt för en konsert i Rovaniemi 2007 med Lapin Kamariorkesteri. Texterna till sångcykeln Kysymysten kirja togs ur Frågornas bok av Pablo Neruda. De ”naiva”, djupa frågorna, formulerade av Monica Groops vackra mezzo, kombineras med livliga, skira orkesterklanger.

År 2009 var han den första  Kalevi Aho (f. 1949): Ackordeonkvartett (uruppförande) Erich Wolfgang Korngold (1897-1957): Mariettas Lied ur ”Die Tote Stadt” (1919-20) (arr. Bengt Forsberg) bund rf. - juristen Anna Maria Brandt, Finlands skåde- spelarförbund rf.
